['brɔːd 'tʃəːtʃ'pɑːti], eine theologische Richtung innerhalb der Kirche von England (Weiterentwicklung des ökumenisch ausgerichteten, theologisch liberalen Latitudinarismus) im 19. und 20. Jahrhundert. Sie nimmt gegenüber den verschiedenen kirchlichen Richtungen eine vermittelnde Stellung ein, steht jedoch im Gegensatz zur bewusst die katholische Tradition bewahrenden High Church. Sie betont v. a. ein praktisch-ethisches Christentum der Toleranz.
